The University of Phoenix just flew me to San Juan, Puerto Rico to speak for their graduation on 900 business students. It was terrific. I had to do the presentation in Spanish. No problem since I was born in Argentina.

I spoke for 15 minutes but sat on the stage for a couple of hours as the graduates received their diplomas. I’ll be speaking at another U of P graduation in Ft. Lauderdale next month. English this time!

I spent a couple of days in San Juan with my good friend Juan Estarellas. Juan and I were teammates in the Houston Baptist University soccer team in the early 80’s. Juan played, I watched…

Pass It On Premiere

I just got back from the World Premiere of the motivational movie PASS IT ON. Six months ago we were talking about making a movie, 2 months ago we were featured at the Sundance Film Festival, and last week PASS IT ON became the biggest movie premiere in Las Vegas history.

The star-studded event started with a press conference, the actual showing of the movie to 800 people, and ended with a great party at the Moon Palace disco.

I just got back from Tucson where we got to spend a great day inspiring and teaching 4000 people success principles. I had the pleasure of meeting Zig’s wife Jeanne. I’d heard about Jeanne in Zig’s tapes and his presentations. Zig calls Jeanne a decided redhead. One day she just decided to become a redhead!

We had breakfast together and had a blast. Hopefully next time my wife Cheryl will be there to make it a foursome.

Athletes & Executives, a great organization…

A few months ago, when I was speaking at a big event in Portland, Maine, I received a call from Scott Manthorne, one of the co-founders of Athletes & Executives, a private, members-only national organization.

Their members are senior-level business executives, many of whom are former professional athletes. A&E connects their members for the specific purpose of serious business networking.

Scott and I met for lunch and I was impressed with his passion for connecting people. He obviously enjoys doing it because by the time the waiter brought us the check, Scott had given me the names of a dozen people I could contact right away to help build my business.

A few days later Scott called me on the phone and gave me another list of key contacts.

Filming “Pass It On” - The Movie…

Just got back from LA where we finished filming “Pass It On.” This project was a blast. We got to spend time with some incredible people. We were actually shooting in the same movie studio where the TV show “What’s Happening” was shot.

Next month we head out to Park City to be a part of the Sundance Festival.

The bubble gum machine is the the movie’s symbol. It represents the heart of the movie. How successful people are willing to so what unsuccessful people are not willing to do.

The bubble gum story goes like this… Imagine you find $1000. Most people will spend the money on something. Say… a sofa. But successful people will have more discipline. They will invest the money. For example… on a bubble gum machine. In a year, they will have made $1000, then they can buy the sofa, and still have a business that nets them $1000 a year.

This movie will show people simple ways they can become more successful. In a very entertaining way…
