Lake Tahoe, Nevada - Home of “The Ponderosa”
I was just in Lake Tahoe where I spoke for Bax Schenker, a huge global shipping company. Bax was just bought out by Schenker, a German company. They were having a leadership and team building conference for 165 of their managers. I talked about the importance of being a team player and of creating a “Dream Team” of people that will not let you quit.
Lake Tahoe is 45 minutes from Reno. We stayed right on the water’s edge, just a few miles from “The Ponderosa” where the TV show “Bonanza” was filmed. When you think of it, Ben Cartwright, Little Joe, Hoss, and Adam didn’t always agree with each other, but they always stood up for each other. They made a strong team.
